The "New" Concise History is under construction here. Please bear with us as we improve our educational sections.

A Concise History of American Period Furniture
By Stanley D. Saperstein

We're currently building a new concise history of period furniture. This version will include photo illustrations, line drawings, and lots more written detail. Photos will include examples of our period reproductions & restoration work, examples produced or restored by our affiliates, reprinted photos and text, and random illustrations and photos obtained through internet research. Our goal is to create a compact but very detailed review furniture design.

Please feel free to to explore while we build!

Meanwhile please feel free to download our PDF version.
