Furniture Carving
This walnut Bonnet was made by Stanley for a fellow craftsman in
need of a carver. The piece sits atop a solid walnut highboy. Accents
include scrollwork, dental molding, turnings, fluting, and a cherub
bust. Perhaps one of the most overall complex furniture carvings
to date, the piece provides a clear example of the mastery of a
wide variety of skills.
This dogwood inside of guilloche pattern adorns a communion table
we built for Trinity church of Princeton, NJ.
A very elegant pattern, this carving is a great feature for aprons,
moldings, and on a larger scale box fronts.
This custom design was applied to a bible box offered as an anniversary
gift by one of our clients. We can design custom carving such as
this example for any of our pieces.
The client who commissioned this custom library was a U.S. Naval
Officer, and requested Naval symbols and sayings along with hand
fluting work on the moldings.
We take great pleasure in working along a theme; it provides direction
while still allowing us creative control.

These wreaths are a combination of CNC and hand carving resulted in a very detailed solid oak overlay of leaf work and ribbons. This applique can be placed in a variety of settings, signs, mantles, furniture accents, or directly to walls.
