Eric Saperstein at Battleship New Jersey

August of 2004 Eric got the opportunity to tour the Battleship NJ and complete some simple restoration work on the Ship's wheels. A simple project, consisting mainly of rubbing off the grime and applying a few coats of tung oil to help shine and preserve the wood.

We discovered that other than the decking, there's not a whole lot of wood on an Iowa class battleship - but we can now claim that Artisans restored the woodworking on the New Jersey!
